2. Brake box and lift drive are compartmented for independent maintenance.
3. Columns/scissors are checked for eccentric load to limit deck tilt.
4. Dual confirmation on position switches prevents single-point false release.
5. Hydraulic or electric drive chosen by noise and cleanliness preference.
6. Guards and skirts cover scissor shear zones for approach protection.
